Eloy J Rojas
I am a professional dancer, choreographer and dance teacher from Venezuela, a country where dancing is an important part of the culture and Latin American lifestyle.
In 2008-2012 I officially completed my professional training as a professional dancer, choreographer and dance teacher for Ballroom, Latin rhythms, Afro-Latino rhythms and Caribbean rhythms in Caracas (Venezuela).
In 2014, I moved to Mexico City, where I continued my training and at the same time founded my own dance school "Be Dancer". During this time I attended various international congresses and workshops, and trained in Latin rhythms, ballet and contemporary.
In 2016, I moved to Berlin to build my dance career here. In Berlin I developed my own dance style and became internationally known for my bodymovement, breaking male stereotypes in dance. In 2018, I founded my dance school called EJR Studio and its dance company "Ibere".
I have also been choreographer of the prestigious VOLKSBUHNE theatre in Berlin.
I am currently working on a project funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media called "from the roots: IT IS ABOUT LATIN RHYTHMS", in which I am developing a structure for a training in Latin American rhythms to certify Dancers, Teachers and Choreographers.
ith a unique teaching and dance style that I brought to Berlin from Venezuela and developed further in BerlinI i perform throughout Europe with my self-choreographed shows and give workshops according to a methodology I developed myself, thus representing Berlin and Germany internationally.
